Tiebreaker #1: Overall Record (Winning Percentage) |
Tiebreaker #2: Head-to-head matchup |
Tiebreaker #3: Division Record (All tied teams must be in same division) |
Tiebreaker #4: Fewest Runs Allowed (Team Defense) |
Tiebreaker #5: Most Runs Scored (Team Offense) |
Tiebreaker #6: Coin Flip |

All tied teams must meet the criteria of said tiebreaker for tiebreaker to be used. If all teams do not meet criteria, then all teams will move on
to the next tiebreaker. |
Examples: Four teams are tied at 8-6 (Tiebreaker #1 can not be used). Two of the teams have not played each other due to a rainout that was not made up (Tiebreaker #2 can not be used). Three of the teams are in the National League, and one is in the American League (Tiebreaker #3 can not be used). All four teams have allowed the same amount of runs (Tiebreaker #4 can not be used). All four teams have scored the same amount of runs (Tiebreaker #5 can not be used).
