Orioles Defense Highlights

 Joda Glossner - 2 assists, 4 putouts, and a nifty 4U on a smoked ball up the middle.
 Gilve Santana - full game behind the dish in hot weather. Great job!
 Ryan Gaudet - Chris Fantasia - Solid left side infield on a shorthanded day!
 Branden Anderson - Mike Belair - These two guys left it all on the mound

Athletics Defense Highlights

 Octavio Rodriguez - Nice 4U-3 Double Play to stop an inning from really getting out of hand. States that will net him some all star votes, like he doesn’t vote for himself already
 Joe Braga - Catches all 9, throws out 2 runners trying to steal second in consecutive innings
 Ryan Pearson - clears Covid protocols and never mind smell/taste, apparently tracking fly Balls was the biggest lingering side effect
 Mike Doherty - Selfishly pitches himself in a spot start. Proceeds to throw 7 innings of BP, including 2 HR’s, and a handful of piss missiles. Escapes with the “Dub”. Hat tip to the O’s, always a pleasure. Tough choosing only 1 for Miesel award

White Sox Defense Highlights

 Tim Sullivan - pitches 8 innings in the heat and keeps Indians off balance all game scattering 9 hits and 1 BB.
 Gary Lacroix - flashing the leather with a few highlight reel plays
 Paul Orzech - and John Mallin - solid behind the plate all game. Each threw out would-be base stealers to squash rallies.
 White Sox Team - Solid defense all-around. Only 1 error. Keep it up guys for the playoffs!

Indians Defense Highlights

 Bill Brooks - and Tim W. - pitched well and deserved a better fate, 14 Ks...we didn't show up for you.
 Indians Team - Turned a couple of DP's but 6 errors on the day...W.Sox took advantage of them.

Twins Defense Highlights

 John Antonelli - Quite a feat, the only guy who played all six innings in the field and didn't touch the ball!
 Mike Hurley - Way to step up and catch when we needed ya!
 Rich Callahan - Solid at third all day! It's like they were trying to hit it to you.
 Twins Team - Great defense today. Let's carry that on into the final week and playoffs.

Giants Offense Highlights

 Dave Short - Coming off a roaring birthday celebration on Saturday goes 4-4 with 3 rbi and a stolen base **** Frank Regan and Scott Evans both with a hit.
 Matthew Savage - Not to be outdone by brother Dave, Matty drops to the two spot and goes 3-3 2 rbi, 3 stolen bases including stealing home on a double steal with, of course his brother.
 Oscar Aquino - Moved up to the one spot gets 2 solid hits and a SB**** Mark Maselli, the team determined after watching videos of his son hitting bombs, he got all his power from mom, Mark promptly blasts a double to left & upon arriving at 2nd asks for a new lung.
 Chris Markuns - Great at bat to work the walk off walk in the ninth. Also had a hit and an rbi. **** Todd Surrette was touting his 16 second home to second base speed. Promptly hits an rbi double but his uniform slowed him down a bit got there in 16.72 seconds

Yankees Defense Highlights

 Chris Janowicz - another clean sheet for his two innings on the mound, fielding the position well. multiple deep catches in center
 Rich Rosa - great throw to cut off and catch the runner trying to go back to third.
 Dave Bernardini - nice play early on tough ground ball to second
 Yankees Team - Decent defensively. just a few leaky plays cost us most of the runs. let's tighten things up for the playoffs

Giants Defense Highlights

 Oscar Aquino - Went a long way at second to make a nice grab of a pop up.
 Frank Regan - Looking good on the hill in his first outing of the year.
 Taylor Leathers - and Matt Savage, solid day on the hill.
 Giants Team - Not our best defensive effort. Lets get back at it next week.
