Astros Defense Highlights

Brett Mader - Was a vacuum over at 3rd. Now we know why all the guys call him Hoover...we hope...

Brendan O'Connell - to Robarge to Cally for a nice 8-6-2 play to cut down a run at the plate and end an inning.

Astros Team - Wally, Hogg and Robarge pitched well enough to keep us in the game. An error and some walks were the difference in this one. Brewers D kept us off the bases.

Tim Whalen - CG victory again for Buzz Lightyear....1-hits the 'Stros with 1 ER thru 7

Nestor Perez - Beautiful sliding catch in short CF in the 9th to rob Wally Gator of a nice hit. Hope there's video of THAT one

Brewers Team - Solid D all the way around, making the plays we're supposed to

John Mallin - Got beat up behind the plate all day, and kept coming!

Andrew Gomes - Two fold.... way to come in and shut them down in the middle of the 5th, and throw an absolute seed from CF to cut the runner down at home in the first.
